Welcome to Angelina Hong Media

A branding photographer and social media strategist helping women entrepreneurs create image content paired with intentional strategy for social media.

Ready to transform your business?

Hi there! My name is Angelina Hong.

I help passionate women entrepreneurs (like you!) create authentic visual content paired with compelling copy so that you can transform your online presence, attract the right customer, and make money doing what you love!

Originally from Minnesota, I came out to the Bay Area where I graduated from Stanford University with a BA in Human Biology. I’ve found that the skills I learned in school and after college shine brightest when I work as a photographer. I’m a crazy empathetic and driven individual who will stop at nothing to make others happy and change the world.

I’m a big proponent of serving likeminded people. I am a bi-ethnic (Hmong & Korean), queer, woman. That’s why I’ve made it my mission to serve the ambitious woman entrepreneur. The girl who will stop at nothing to be it all and do it all.

When I’m not shooting, I enjoy hanging out with my two cats (Jax and Yunie), practicing Muay Thai, and eating anything that comes from a potato!

Now, imagine having…

Newfound confidence in you and your biz.

An image library with authentically aligned photos.

A creative partnership with someone who can make you feel seen and heard.

It all starts when you decide to take the next step in your business by on-boarding me as your creative partner!

Professional photos paired with an intentional social media strategy will revolutionize the way you market and feel about your business.

But even more important, I will serve as your collaborator to support you on your social and visual journey. Because you deserve to show up and share with the world what you got.

Confidently, strongly, and without compromise.

Berna Anat of Hey Berna smiling.

I loved that Angelina was professional and positive; I really felt like she had our backs covered with content capturing, so we were free to do our thang as presenters. I would absolutely recommend Angelina’s services to other speakers and solo creators who need a trustworthy and positive team member to capture content. Our photos came out perfectly.

Rae Robey of Pineapple Collaborative smiling.

“Angelina planned ahead, thought about what her client would need, and made plans based on our goals. All her photos really capture the texture, feel, tone, and ambiance of whatever she’s shooting, be it food or event. I would recommend Angelina as a photographer to anyone looking to hire someone with an eye for visual narratives and the ability to fulfill client needs and goals with minimal guidance and maximum creativity.

Tracy Nguyen of AACRE.

Angelina is very easy to work with and at the same time very professional. Her turnaround time is also impressive – a sign that she prioritizes the client’s interest and needs. I plan to hire her again for my next event!”

We loved working with Angelina. She was professional, personable and productive! She styled a number shots (which is a total bonus!) that came out great and was still able to complete our shot list in a pretty short amount of time. She also captured a lot of moments of connection that I thought were really great.”

Kim Boral of Rooted Recipes Project smiling while talking to a crowd.

“I enjoyed working with Angelina. Her final product did a good job in capturing peoples’ interactions and connections, the land and space we were at, and the food. I would recommend Angelina’s services to folks who work in food in any capacity (restaurants, food businesses, organizations, events, etc). What sets her apart from others is she understands food beyond taking a pretty photo. She understands how food plays a role in all parts of our lives.”
